According to a report released by Korean media outlet Star News, Lee Soo Hyuk has been confirmed as the MC for JTBC's new idol audition program 'Project 7.' The program intends to break away from the traditional viewer-vote-only format. Instead, viewers will actively participate by choosing contestants from the very first vote and during each round. The program introduces the concept of "assembling and strengthening," where viewers help form a new team and foster the growth of their favorite contestants. Ultimately, the viewers will select the final seven members of the group.
This is not Lee Soo Hyuk's first time as an MC. He previously appeared as the host of Channel A’s reality show 'Live Together Without Marriage' from January to June of last year. Lee has also shown his hosting skills on variety shows such as MBC’s 'Kkilikkili' in 2020 and JTBC’s 'Bistro Shigor' in 2021.
